      The Investment Manager assists the Investment team with the overall day to day operations and the implementation of the evolving investment strategy of Birdee, hand-in-hand with Birdee’s Investment Committee. The main goal of the Investment team is to provide end-clients with efficient investment strategies, benchmarked against market indices and peer robo-advisors and mutual funds.

        • Birdee makes it easy for you to invest your savings online in responsible funds. We strive to make investing accessible to as many people as possible, while giving meaning to your money. Our ambition: to put the customer at the heart of investment advice through the use of innovative technology.
        • To achieve this, Birdee uses the technology (robo-advisor) developed by Gambit Financial Solutions, a fintech offering B2C or B2B2C digitalized investment services.
        • Our SaaS solutions are used by financial institutions and neobanks in Belgium, France and the Netherlands. Our strategic partnership with BNP to 2025 and our investments in R&D are enabling us to enhance the performance of our BtoC, BtoBtoC and delegated management offerings.
        • Today, the group is growing rapidly, employing over 80 people (including around ten at Birdee) and continuing to expand internationally.
        • Birdee is 100% French-speaking.
         

        MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES ✅

        • Improving, testing and implementing new quantitative-based investment strategies
        • Managing Birdee’s investment universes (researching and listing new investment vehicles, preparing documented due diligences, and implementing them within the strategy)
        • Benchmarking and reporting key portfolio performance and risk metrics to the team and to the Investment Committee
        • Enhancing and automating reporting processes
        • Preparing, attending and documenting discussions with the Investment Committee
        • Preparing, attending and documenting investment meetings with institutional partners
        • Reading and summarizing economic and financial news
        • Writing communications and performance notes to the attention of Birdee’s clients
        • Preparing and publishing all frequent and non-frequent reportings linked to our mandates Investment Manager 2
        • Helping on B2B2C projects and partnerships developments
        • Executing and monitoring day-to-day operations (rebalancings, trade computations and executions, manage portfolio drifts)
        • Answering to clients’ questions on Investment topics
        • Providing support to Operations Team with regards to Investment-related matters
        • Monitoring, analyzing and extending Birdee’s interfaces with its custodians
         

        MAIN OBJECTIVES 🎯

        • Reviewing the investment strategy (execution processes and automations, funds analyses and selection, strategic allocations definition)
        • Creating a specific environment dedicated to Birdee Investment (with performance dashboard, descriptions of investment strategies, summary of portfolio holdings, responsible investment guidelines, blog,...)
        • Creating visibility on Birdee Investment for internal coworkers (Birdee + Gambit)
        • Collaborating on Birdee products development (Investment-wise)
        • Pursuing Investment documentation to respect internal and external auditing standards
        • Providing reporting material to institutional partner
